Code of Conduct

Parent Code of Conduct

  • I will put the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of youth participants ahead of a personal desire to win.

  • I will respect players, coaches, officials, spectators, and families at all times.

  • I will respect the decisions of officials or coaches.

  • I will not engage in any violence or verbal threats or use excessive profanity. Doing so is grounds for removal from said event.

  • Drugs are strictly prohibited. Anyone seen distributing any drugs, or alcohol to anyone under 21 years old, will be reported immediately.

  • Sexual harassment will not be tolerated and you will be removed immediately from the event.

  • I will not yell advice to my child during a camp, clinic, or game.

  • I will model good sportsmanship for all youth participants.

  • I will not belittle or ridicule anyone involved in a youth sporting event–in public, private, in-person, or online.

  • I will do my part to keep sports fun and positive for every youth participant.

We do not tolerate harassment of any kind.  Harassment involves a pattern of abusive and degrading conduct (such as, among other things, verbal abuse, sexually explicit or derogatory comments or images, mimicry, unwanted touching, or lewd or offensive gestures or jokes) that someone did not solicit or invite and which the harassed person reasonably regards as undesirable or offensive. Harassment also may take the form of bullying, as when an individual or group seeks to intimidate, degrade, humiliate or undermine others. Such harassment can occur physically, or through social media. Harassment violates the law in many jurisdictions when the content of the harassment relates to any of the victim’s protected characteristics. This policy applies to all forms of harassment.
